New Years

Happy New Year everyone!
I hope that you all had an enjoyable time celebrating new years eve.

I was able to spend my evening with two of my aunties and a big fluffy friendly golden retriever. We watched some funny movies, finished a puzzle, had some snacks, shared a few laughs, and danced to some great songs.

Fireworks at Buck Hill are a nice way to welcome in the 2011 year. We all carpooled to the Hill and I brought my camera.

So many people had turned up to celebrate the new year that there was an audible countdown, and when the new year rolled in the fireworks went off.

Someone had apparently brought a glitter confetti cannon along with them, because there was a blast, and then a bunch of square glittering confetti started flying everywhere.

As I watched the fireworks flash and boom, I pointed my camera towards the top of the ski slope, and managed to catch quite a few of the fireworks right as they crested the hill. (you can even see the snow and trees right at the top of the hill at the bottom of some of the pictures.)

Well I hope that this new year is even better than the last one for myself, and for everyone who reads my widely scattered blog! :D

hail hail, all's hail

Today we hade a storm of ice and rain. What a way to welcome in the first day of June!

I happened to be outside when those little ice balls began to fall, and now my head feels as though it's bruised.

The icy hail took me by surprise because it had been so warm outside just moments before.

Hopefully there weren't too many cars damaged by these marble sized air borne projectiles!

Welcome, Welcome, One and All!

Hello, and welcome to my blog! I must say that my life is not particularly glamorous nor interesting. However, if anything I deem to be noteworthy occurs, I shall dutifully record said events here.

I shall most probably add things I find humorous, exciting, enjoyable, or any combination of the three.

If I am in an unusually stormy rage, I MIGHT post some kind of hate filled rant, but no guarantees. I usually try to avoid angry things.

Hope that you can find some modicum of enjoyment from reading my recollection of these tales.
